Prayer Request and An Opportunity to Help

My fiancé, Lee, posted this on his blog Friday. I just saw it today, after being without internet over the weekend. Please keep these brethren in your prayers! I can only imagine how hard it must be; losing everything all at once like that.

Family of a Friend Lost Everything in a Flood

My friend John Henson asked for prayers for his wife's sister and her husband, Don and Phyllis Bowden. They lived near Nashville and their house and all belongings were destroyed in the flood that has ravaged that area.

Following the request for prayers, several Christians asked for a way to monetarily help. A Paypal account was started, and John reports that after a few hours $450 has been given.

Please consider helping our brother and sister if you can. If you are not able to give, perhaps you might pass this information along to some of your friends.
