One Year

I was talking to Lee this evening, and he brought something to my attention that I would have completely overlooked (we'll mark this down as a "thoughtful-guy point" for him and not a "overlooking-details-girl point" for me, if it's all the same to you) :)

Usually I'm the kind of person that tends to roll their eyes a bit when people post about this or that "anniversary" online. You know, when a status something like this pops up on your facebook homepage?
"So-and-so is celebrating TWO WEEKS since such-and-such fifteen-year-old boy asked her out! Happy Anniversary Babe! I'll love you forever!" (or at least for the next 5 minutes!)
Yeah... not a fan. On so many levels. But that's not the point of this post! No soapbox rant tonight. :)

One year ago today, Lee sent me a private message on an online Bible discussion forum. Yep. The first correspondence - the message that started it all. And now, Lord willing, we will be vowing ourselves to each other in 70 days. Wow.

I thank God daily for his unfathomable Providence and care. And Lee, for taking that first step and changing my life forever. I love you.
